Battle for the port.....

The cruise liners are going head to head for summer 2011. NCL is placing its newest and most exciting ship of their fleet in Palma, Majorca for the summer 2011 season, the itinerary’s will include ports such as Florence/Pisa, Rome, Naples.


Alongside NCL, Royal Caribbean cruises will be placing the Grandeur of the Seas also in Palma for summer 2011 also visiting ports along the Italian Riviera, Balearics islands plus more.

It looks like Palmas the port to be based in for 2011, and it’s not a bad idea, Palma is such a hugely popular destination for the British and Irish market. There are low cost flights available from all UK airports so it’s a great choice of port if you fancy DIY'ing your holiday, which we can even sort for you. Team it with a few nights in a local resort such as Palma Nova, Magaluff, and Santa Ponsa to make it into a longer holiday. These 3 resorts are all very close to Palma port so even if you were to jump in a taxi cost wise it wouldn’t break the bank.
